On the morning of March 3, Consul General Li Xuhang met with Hamad Mohammad Al Yayaei, Vice Minister of the UAE Ministry of Education at the Dubai Office of the Ministry. Vice Consul General Sun Xudong and Tan Li were accompanied.
Consul General Li Xuhang thanked the Ministry of Education for its long-term support for China-UAE education cooperation and the work of the Consulate General. He spoke highly of the positive results of China-UAE cooperation in the establishment of Confucius Institutes and the opening of Chinese courses in 200 UAE schools. He also thanked the Ministry of Education for its concern and support for the opening of Chinese International School in Dubai.
Hamad said that the Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the education of the children of overseas Chinese in the UAE, and is satisfied with the progress made in educational cooperation between China and the UAE. The Ministry of Education is willing to continue to maintain close cooperation with the Consulate General, further expand and deepen the future education cooperation between the two sides, and strongly support the preparation of Chinese International schools.
