On July 14, Consul General Ou Boqian led a delegation of Chinese enterprises based in Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah. The delegation met with Lody Embrechts, Advisor- International Relations, and Alma Au Yeung, Advisor-Greater China Affairs, RAK Ruler’s office, and visited the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone and project involving Chinese companies.

Lody and Alma stated that Ras Al Khaimah attaches great importance to developing relations with China and highly appreciates China’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and development. They expressed willingness to further deepen practical cooperation in investment, energy, infrastructure, and other fields to advance the sustained growth of the China-UAE strategic partnership.

Ou noted that as an emerging investment hotspot in the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah, leveraging its strategic location and favorable tax policies, is prioritizing the development of manufacturing, logistics, and the digital economy and offering a highly competitive business environment for international enterprises. She emphasized that the emirate is a key node in Belt and Road cooperation and expressed hope for strengthened exchanges and collaboration to attract more Chinese businesses to establish a presence in Ras Al Khaimah.
