On September 16, the Chinese Consulate General in Dubai hosted a reception celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Consul General Ou Boqian attended the reception and delivered remarks. More than 450 guests, including the Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office in Dubai, members of emirate royal families, representatives from political, business and academic circles, diplomats, overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises in the UAE, attended the event.

In her remarks, Consul General Ou Boqian reviewed China’s development achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party of China over the past 105 years, introduced President Xi Jinping’s four-point proposal on building a new security architecture in the Middle East, and expressed China’s readiness to share with the UAE the opportunities brought by Chinese modernization and advance the in-depth development of the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership. The guests spoke highly of China’s development achievements and China-UAE relations.

During the reception, exhibitions were held featuring works by President Xi Jinping and Chinese culture, photographs showcasing China’s development achievements, and China-UAE cultural and high-tech innovations. The Nanjing Qingning Choir delivered a wonderful performance, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
