On February 4, the press conference for the 2026 Dubai “Warm Spring, Happy Chinese New Year” Grand Parade was successfully held at the China Pavilion in Expo City Dubai. Consul General Ou Boqian, Sholto Douglas-Home, Chief Marketing, Communications and Sales Officer at Expo City Dubai, Amna Abulhoul, Executive Creative Director of Entertainment and Experiences at Expo City Dubai, and Mohammed Feras Arayqat, Assistant Vice President at Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, attended the event together with more than 50 representatives from Chinese and international media.

Consul General Ou Boqian introduced the preparations, highlights and arrangements of the Grand Parade to the media. She noted that building on last year’s “Dubai–Abu Dhabi dual-city linkage,” this year’s event has been expanded into a “Seven-Star Constellation” format covering all seven emirates of the UAE. Centered on the theme “From Tradition to Future”, the event will highlight how technology empowers culture and will feature activities including parades, festive markets and performances.

During the press conference, Arayqat introduced a series of Chinese New Year celebrations organized by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, expressing the hope of inviting residents from around the world in Dubai to enjoy diverse cultures and celebrate the festival together.
