On November 12, the “Dialogue with the World · Through the Lens of Youth: Dialogue with the Chinese Consul General” event and the opening ceremony of the “China Through My Eyes” photo exhibition were successfully held at the University of Dubai. Attendees included Dr. Eesa Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai.

Consul General, H.E. Ou Boqian delivered an insightful and engaging presentation to the faculty and students, focusing on the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan. She provided a comprehensive analysis of the drivers behind China's development and outlined the promising prospects for China-UAE cooperation in practical collaboration, high-tech industries, and cultural exchanges. The session also featured vibrant interactions between the Consul General and the attendees. During the event, Consul General Ou Boqian presented President Eesa with the “Confucius Institute Director Commemorative Medal.”

The “China Through My Eyes” photo exhibition, organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Dubai, showcased the beauty of China as captured by young photographers. In conjunction with the exhibition, a special display commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War highlighted the two nations' shared commitment to peace and common development.
