On October 27, the "Dialogue with the Chinese Consul General" event was successfully held at the American University of Sharjah. Consul General, H.E. Ou Boqian entered the campus and delivered a distinctive lecture to faculty and students. Attendees included Dr. Tod A. Laursen, Chancellor of American University of Sharjah, UAE.

Using time as the vertical thread and development as the horizontal thread, Consul General Ou Boqian guided the audience through China's historical and modern journey, providing a comprehensive perspective on China's development path and contemporary dynamics. Through diverse materials including images, videos, and data, she fully demonstrated the developmental achievements of Chinese modernization, enhanced the audience's recognition of China's development path and philosophy, and encouraged young students to contribute to elevating China-UAE relations to new heights. Faculty and students enthusiastically raised questions on topics including traditional Chinese culture, technological innovation, and trends in economic globalization, to which Consul General Ou Boqian responded to each individually.
