On October 17, students from the "China Merchants Group C ME FLY International Logistics Study Tour" visited the Chinese Consulate-General in Dubai. They attended a thematic sharing session by Consul General, H.E. Ou Boqian and participated in the closing ceremony of the study tour. Nearly 100 teachers and students from universities such as the University of Sharjah and the University of Birmingham were present.
Consul General, H.E. Ou Boqian delivered a presentation titled "A Day in China: Glimpses of Modern China from Dawn to Dusk." Using the traditional Chinese timing system of the 12 two-hour periods as a narrative thread, she wove together key themes including China's reform and opening-up, historic poverty alleviation, the Belt and Road Initiative, free trade, the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Global Initiatives, and the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Through vivid case studies and comprehensive data, she provided a thorough overview of China's development path, philosophies, and achievements. Representatives from the attending teachers and students also spoke at the event, sharing their insights from the exchange and extending their aspirations for the youth of both China and the UAE.

This public welfare study tour, organized by China Merchants Group, spanned three days. The itinerary included experiencing traditional Chinese culture, visiting overseas warehouses, and the trip to the Consulate-General. On October 15, Deputy Consul General Wang Yi had attended the opening ceremony held at the China Pavilion, Expo City Dubai.
