On the evening of October 6, 2025, beneath a radiant full moon against the deep indigo sky of Dubai, the Burj Khalifa—the world's tallest tower—once again became a luminous vehicle for sharing Chinese culture with the world. Following its illumination in brilliant “Chinese red” on October 1st to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the iconic skyscraper unveiled a special Mid-Autumn Festival light show across its vast facade.

One by one, enchanting traditional motifs came to life in a dazzling play of light and shadow: the Jade Rabbit preparing its elixir, koi fish swimming gracefully, and lanterns swaying gently. These were accompanied by the poetic inscription, “A bright moon shines overhead; though far apart, we share this moment,” rendered in elegant calligraphy. Against the backdrop of the Middle East, the display conveyed a beautiful message of “one moon shining upon a shared world,” bringing traditional Chinese culture to the global stage in a more vivid and relatable way.
