Consul General Ou Boqian attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Academic Year of Chinese School Dubai on August 30. The ceremony also saw attendance of the Chinese and foreign representatives of the school’s Board of Directors, heads of Chinese-funded enterprises and overseas Chinese groups in the consular district, representatives of teachers and students, and representatives of students’ parents.

Consul General Ou Boqian said in her remarks that education is the fundamental way to pass on civilization and knowledge, cultivate the younger generation, and create a better life. Over the past year, the Chinese School Dubai has made remarkable progress in all aspects. It carries the special mission of cultivating talents for motherland overseas that is honorable and significant. She hoped that all teachers and students in the school can have the courage to climb and challenge with the spirit of progress. Teachers should strive to impart knowledge and educate people, and students should respect teachers, pursue integrity and innovation, spread friendship, and achieve growth and progress through practice.

Zheng Li, principal of Dubai Chinese School, and Ni Beilei, deputy general manager of China State Construction Engrg. Corp. (Middle East) (L.L.C) delivered speeches respectively. Teachers and students performed wonderful programs, and the guests present painted together with them, opening a beautiful chapter in the new school year.
