On July 17, 2024, Consul General Ou Boqian was interviewed by Emirate Loves.

During the interview, Consul General Ou stated that China and the UAE are two of the most dynamic economies in the world. Using an analogy, she said that if these two nations were likened to the ends of a dumbbell, then the Consulate General of China in Dubai would be the "bridge" connecting them. This year marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE, with bilateral relations progressing rapidly. The comprehensive cooperation between the two nations is expanding into deeper, broader, and more diverse areas. The Consulate General in Dubai will continue to serve as a vital connection, creating more opportunities for enhanced cooperation and exchanges between China and the emirates in areas such as politics, trade, science and technology, culture, and media, fostering more practical and fruitful outcomes.
