On September 30th, Economic & Commercial Counselor Jin Lei from the Consulate General of China in Dubai attended an activity celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China in Ajman China Mall and delivered a speech. Representatives from local governments including Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, President of the Ajman Ruler’s Court, Sheikh Sultan, Director of Ministry of Economy Ajman, and Investment Director of Ajman Free Zone , representatives of Chinese merchants in Ajman China Mall, representatives from overseas Chinese and media representatives, totaling over 200 people, attended the event.
Counselor Jin Lei said that the top leaders of China and the UAE have successfully exchanged visits in one year, which made the two countries all-round strategic partners. The relationship of China and the UAE has entered the best time in history. The Consulate General in Dubai is willing to act as a bridge between the Chinese enterprises and Ajman to promote the cooperation in the fields such as trade and economy. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE.

In recent years, China's economy has grown rapidly, its comprehensive national strength has been increasingly enhanced, and its social development has changed with each passing day. It is playing an increasingly important role in the international community. Currently more than 800 Chinese companies are registered in the Ajman Free Zone. The government of the Emirate of Ajman hopes to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation in various fields with the Consulate General to better serve Chinese companies in the region and attract more Chinese companies to invest in the Free Zone.
